July 22-26, 2024 at Living Waters Ministry

We are excited for our Summer Youth Retreat: Awaken, this year! It will be held at our lodge in Hiddenite, NC for ages 13-18. We will be taking youth to rafting with Zalooe’s canoes and hiking at Rocky Face. Youth will also get to utilize a fun zip line, and have an outdoor picnic and devotion time(s) on the trail.

What will we do? We will be doing fun, character-building activities, bonfires, and lots of games! This will be a time for all of us to grow closer together, build lasting relationships, and most of all grow closer to God. We will be having Biblically sound, Living Waters-focused, lessons that focus on building the youth in their faith and helping them overcome some of the hurdles, hurts, and obstacles they may be facing personally, whether in their family or at school. We will have break-out sessions and discipleship times!

What is the goal of the Awaken Youth Retreat? We aim to see kids healed and free from emotional and personal bondage. To see hearts and young people set free to experience the love of God in a real and tangible way by inspiration from the Word of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and be awakened to their God-given identity!

This is going to be an unforgettable week that will make a lasting impact on the youth. They will leave with a healed heart, new passion, and a more clear sense of who God has called them to be, and the mission He has called them to in this life! Even as we may be in difficult times, we want youth to have a clear sense of their God-given identity and purpose even in these last days, so they can walk in faith, power, and love.
