The Apostle Paul writes in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” If you are a born-again child of God, you don’t have to struggle with fear. Faith in God’s love is your daily security, but faith is not what makes the fear go away. Faith gives you the power to resist and overcome fear, and not give in to. When you are secure in the love of God, you are able to resist the enemy and not believe his lies. The enemy wants us to be in fear so we are powerless over him. All you have to say is, “Devil leave me alone. In the name of Jesus, GO!” and he has to flee. God empowers His sons and daughters with His Holy Spirit, so they can have a sound mind and tell the enemy to leave in Jesus’ name.

Do you see why I am always urging you that God’s love needs to be an all-consuming desire and passion in your life?! Don’t go another day without allowing the love of God to heal your broken heart, and set you free from any fear, doubt or unbelief that you are struggling with. Stop living a defeated life and embrace a victorious life available to you through Jesus Christ!
