New Levels of Glory in 2022

1 Corinthians 2:9b – New King James Version

9b “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

I am aware that many of you are looking back on 2021 and realizing it has been a season of suffering, heartache, and unexpected bumps in the road that nobody saw coming. I know of many families who unexpectedly lost loved ones or dear friends who have been lost to that illness that has nearly crippled our nation, or to some other unwarranted disaster or disease. People may even have lost jobs or threatened to be fired for not adhering to a particular medical mandate being enforced by our government. Hearts may have been broken, trust may have been ruined, and some of you may have felt deeply hurt and/or rejected by a loved one. You may feel locked up and as if you can never forgive that individual who hurt you. Some of you may look at the turmoil in your families, cities, or in this nation, and feel hopeless and as if nothing could improve the situation many of us find ourselves in.

In the midst of all this heartache and despair, I want you to know that God is still in control and He has not left your side, even if you have not felt His presence. In fact, God is using the broken pieces and storms of your life right now as a catalyst to promote you to the next level of your life. In order for there to be any rainbows, there must first be the storms of life, and in order for a beautiful, mighty oak tree to grow and bare acorns, (which will one day die and grow into more trees) and have roots that grow deep into the soil, it must first be planted in fertilized soil, filled with organic matter which consists of those organisms which have died and fertilized the soil. A mighty oak tree grows stronger and its roots grow deeper when it withstands the storms and hurricanes of life. During this coming year, God is wanting to do a new thing in your life. As 2 Corinthians 3:18 reminds us, God is wanting to transform us into the image of Jesus and bring us into new levels of glory. But first, we must be transformed in the cocoon of life, which many times can be dark, lonely, and uncomfortable. Galatians 2:20 says, “For I am crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” May you by faith walk into the promises and victory of God in 2022!

May 2022 be a year of us walking into new levels of glory! God has prepared great things for each of you this year! This year, Let us reach forward to the new things God has planned, forgetting the loss of 2021 and previous years, and by faith, fixing our eyes on Jesus.
