The greatest of all of God’s gifts to you is His love for you. You see, when you are secure in God’s love, your life will never be the same again.

We read in Ephesians 3:20 that God is wanting “to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us.” When your life is truly surrendered to Jesus and you are secure in His love, God will take your life and do things you have never before dreamed of. Jesus took the 5 loaves and 2 fish, multiplied it, and fed hundreds of people. God will take whatever you give Him and He will use it to impact the multitudes.

God will flood your heart and life with His peace, love, and favor when you truly commit your life to Him. So many people are wandering and struggling today because they are trying to live out of their own strength. They are struggling to get by because they try to live their lives out of their own effort and strength. We were placed on this earth not to live by our own strength, because it’s futile. It’s like putting a boat out into the ocean without a motor. That boat will not get to its destination, because it does not have a source of power. The ocean is too strong and vast, and the boat will be tossed about and broken apart by the waves.

That small boat is no match for the ocean. Unless there is intervention, it will be washed back to the shore in pieces. But, if that same boat is put into the ocean with a motor, it can travel safely across the ocean and arrive at its destination. Picture yourself as the boat and the world is the ocean. You need a motor, just as a boat needs a motor to give it the power to battle the sea. The Holy Spirit is the motor we need – the power of God that is greater than any ocean. The Holy Spirit will carry you above the storms of life and bring you to your destination.

We live by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. God is wanting to infuse us with the fullness of His love, presence, and power in order to further His Kingdom here on earth.
